EFFECTS ON SOCIETY

Imperialism had a great effect on America. With Imperialism America emerged as a world leader. A great surplus of goods began to be produced in American factories and industries, which caused  the growth of new markets and American economy.  It gave more unity to the united states because for ones it wasn't split up into the north and south, the whole Nation was seen as a world power. There was also a feeling of nationalism that united and made the country feel whole again, After the civil war.

Imperialism led to the independence of Panama, Philippines and Cuba.
