EFFECTS OF WWI

During WWI the U.S. economy grew because of the war produce. But after the thousands of workers  lost their jobs and businesses lost alot. It sent the U.S in to a panic. But WWI did change the role of  Women and minorities during the war, With the majority of the male workforce at war, opportunities for women and minorities in industry opened. After the war, the suffragettes got the right to vote in the 19th amendment.  Many African-Americans migrated to the north for work. The war integrate different cultures and ethnicities in urban areas.
