CHINA

During WWII the U.S. gave a lot of military aid to China's government to prevent them from being controlled by Japan , but after the war a civil war broke out in China between Nationalist led by Chiang and Communist led by Mao Zedong. U.S tired to help China by sending  supplies but China eventually fell to communism. China was a big loss for the U.S
